I'd call it "vintage."

I have experienced all of your air travel travails. Probably all of us have. I find it ironic that all airlines will end their safety info introductions by saying, "Sit back, relax and enjoy your flight." All three of those verbs are stretch goals at best (with the exception of first class). I admire the guts of the European company who makes the Airbus, their name, except the guarantee of a seat.. Maybe the Airbus is trying to manage expectations - i.e. we're going to be safe, we'll get you there, shut up and sit down, be patient or not, we don't really care.

Big typo in my comment. delete phrase after first mention of Airbus. Meant to say that using "bus" as part of their name, invites passengers to extrapolate their negative experiences with a big ole city bus to air travel. Unforutunately, the two have much in common, particularly the lack of personal space.

I’ve also wondered why some retailers believe appending the word, “depot” to their name makes sense.
