Congrats on your impending retirement, Sharon - I'm easing into it, by working a modest consulting assignment. But, I'll embrace it fully very soon. I think you're entitled to the "Gratuitous Use of the Letter 'O'" exemption, given your last name. Thanks for reading. . .
Those stints of yours missed the boat in not including articles or columns of yours. Glad you're still in the publishing business and sharing them here!
Decades ago on my first trip to the Union League Club, I saw a man ironing the newspaper. I was told this eliminates the ink transfer. Turns out that is true, for the most part. I cant see this method for home use, but it worked for the Union League folks.
For seven years I flew ORD-LAX every other Monday @7AM and was an ink-stained wretch each time. No ironing on United.
Henry brings up a good topic. Favorite Words. There could be a column here!
Happy retirement! I’m 5 months behind you. I look forward to more gratuitous uses of the letter o - just consider my last name!

Thanks for your kind words, Cindy - I appreciate it. Maybe Rule of Three is my "next chapter."
Thanks for the background on “mongering.” Would like to add to everyday vocabulary. I am a Trump monger.
"Trump-mongering" cannot be good for your mental health, Liza. Have you tried pickleball?

Man, the Union League Club went all out - gotta’ support the team, I guess. Henny likes mafiosi; I’m partial to chicanery; what’s your favorite, Mike?
I love the word mafiosi.
Also, dropping “gotta support the team” without immediately referencing David Puddy and his face painting took me by surprise.
Such a rookie mistake, Henny - how could I have neglected the Putty reference? “That’s bogus, man!” Says Putty in his 8-ball jacket.
He was arguably my favorite character
Hey Bill. Count me as a lifelong friend.
Our holiday musical efforts were a good incentive for the journos, ados, execos, and aholes to head over to Giorgio’s early.
Yeah, John, the “BASH Band” could be counted on to clear a room. I hope you guys are well - give my best to Mary. I value our friendship, man!
