James Garfield was a big military guy too. Couldn't you say FDR was a businessperson too? Wasn't his family heavily involved in a lot of business stuff?
Excellent column. For question #1 did you consider Theodore Roosevelt Jr. Teddy or T.R.? While he was a politician prior to the war with Spain, it was the campaign in Cuba that catapulted him into national prominence and the White House.
I did get Truman and Carter, not so much on the other questions.
You're all too smart for me. I however will apply at McDonalds.
Hey, Gail, you got my vote.

You’re right - Garfield was a Civil War general. And, yes, FDR’s family were definitely capitalists - interesting how his political career shook out.
I guess I need to apply at Burger King.
I lean to the left, but liked two military vets who could have been president if their timing was right: Colin Powell and John McCain.
I’ll put in a good word for you at BK. I agree with you - those two would have held their heads up high in the White House.

T.R. definitely could have checked that box, given San Juan Hill - he would then have needed a business card that read, “Continued on next card.”
