1. Your money, state issued, has "God" on it. In light of your strong stance for separation of church and state, I suggest getting rid of those icky notes. I'll take 'em.

2. I used to get a kick out of seeing the differently shaped state road signs and was always baffled when states like NY and TX had multiple state signs, often at the county level, I think. Then disappointed when states could only muster up a generic circle or square as a sign.

Living in the Chicago area, I often have to traverse Indiana, whose license plates say "America's Crossroads. I couldn't agree more, I can hardly wait to cross Indiana - either it's at the beginning of the drive east and it seems to take FOREVER to get across it and feel that you are on your way,, or it is the last interminable, dull barrier, particularly after you have been bored to death by Ohio. I have cried crossing Indiana.

I agree - Midwest topography makes for a boring ride. But, I-80 in western Nebraska and eastern Colorado is some of the dullest, barren terrain known to man.

Eastern Colorado is, you stated, exactly like western Kansas - http://scottsmith.photos/images/user/b62a4540-ae9a-4072-ad52-c75987863ad5/resized_5ef7be59-a4c6-449e-979f-5613816c1656.jpg

- and a surprise for the first timers heading west . After a couple of stops for pictures, on college spring break trips -https://images.fineartamerica.com/images/artworkimages/mediumlarge/2/welcome-to-colorful-colorado-street-sign-along-interstate-i-76-miroslav-liska.jpg - I just keep rolling.
